On July 7, 2008, the Barack Obama campaign announced that Obama would accept the Democratic Party's nomination at Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado.
The 2008 Democratic Convention will be held at the Pepsi Center. Obama's decision to give his acceptance speech at a different location is a break with tradition that has not occurred since the nomination of John F.
