O.J. Simpson was a standout NFL running back who was accused of murdering his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. He was found "not guilty" of the murders.

On October 3, 2008, Simpson was found guilty of robbing two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room in September 2007. Simpson and a group of five other men were said to have stormed into the hotel room where they took several game balls, plaques and photos. Two of the men with Simpson were reportedly armed.
