The NYPD, U.S. Coast Guard and the FBI conducted a major radioactive terrorism drill around the New York Harbor and the Verrazano Bridge, on August 4, 2009. This is the second major radioactive drill of the summer of 2009 in NYC. On June 9th and June 10th of 2009, New York City was the scene of a full scale training exercise to search for a nuclear device in the city.
