Northern Exposure was an American comedy-drama television series set in the fictional town of Cicely, Alaska. Following the misadventures of a transplanted New York City doctor (Rob Morrow) as he tries to get used to small town life, the show was known for its quirky surrealism and eccentric characters. Over its six season run, the show was a ratings hit and a critical success, receiving over 50 Emmy Award nominations and a handful of Golden Globe Awards.
