The Norfolk terrier is known for being fearless, confident and loving. It makes a great family dog and is quite active. It is often confused with the Norwich terrier. The breeds are very similar, with the Norfolk terrier having folded ears and the Norwich terrier having pointed ears.

Sports or Activities
Because of their fearless nature, Norfolk terriers were originally used to control rodents and hunt small animals. Modern day versions are most commonly shown competitively and kept as household pets. Although they are active dogs and require daily walks, they can live comfortably in small homes or apartments.
