Noel Gallagher Assaulted

  • Noel Gallagher of the British rock and roll band Oasis was attacked on stage during a concert in Toronto on Sunday September 7, 2008.

    Daniel Sullivan, a 47-year-old man from Ontario, ran onto the stage and pushed Gallagher from behind causing him to fall hard onto stage monitors. Gallagher received bruised ribs and a bruised hip. The band left the stage briefly after the attack but returned to finish their set minutes later. After the concert Gallagher was taken to hospital.BBC: Oasis pull gig over Noel's injury (September 9, 2008) In January 2009, Sullivan went to trial and faces 14 years in prison if convicted.

    • "Noel was soloing when the guy bounded over to him and pushed him in the back. He just fell to his knees and dropped his guitar which made a big thud on the PA.
