    Noel began his career in music as a roadie for the band Inspiral Carpets. After returning home from a tour with the band Noel discovered his younger brother Liam has started a band. Noel went to see the band but unimpressed. Liam later asked Noel to join the band. Noel agreed on the condition he would be the sole songwriter of for the group. In 1993 Oasis was signed to Creation Records.
