• Nitrobike is a dirt-bike racing video game. It was developed by Left Field Productions, the same team that created Excitebike and Excitebike 64. The game, published by Ubisoft, is a Nintendo Wii-exclusive title and is the first Motocross game available for the Wii. The game received average and below-average reviews from video game critics, with many people saying it lacked depth.
  • Gameplay

Most racing games involve using a wheel. That is not the case with Nitrobike. Players use a Nintendo wiimote to pilot the dirt bikes. The wiimote is put on its side, and players steer by tilting the Wiimote to the right or left. The rest of the gameplay is considered to be much like Excitebike 64, where players will be able to perform bigger jumps and aerial tricks. Boosts are more prolonged in the game. As many as six players can compete against each other. There is also an option for online play. The online feature makes note of how many times a player has played as well as the amount of first-place finishes he or she has accumulated.
