Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a 2007 action-adventure game developed by Team Ninja exclusively for the PS3. The game is an updated version of the 2004 original Ninja Gaiden released on the Xbox.
Story
Ryu Hayabusa, an extremely powerful ninja warrior, begins the game by invading the Shadow clan fortress. After visiting with his Uncle Murai there, news comes that the Hayabusa village is under attack. Ryu rushes back to his village, finding it burned and destroyed. Doku, a masked warrior, is behind the attack and has murdered the shrine maiden Kureha and stolen the Dragon Sword. Doku defeats Ryu, but shortly after he recovers from his wounds, he seeks revenge on Doku and the Vigoor Empire.
