  • Chapter 10 - The Temple of Sacrifice

    1. On the left there is a Muramasa shop. Restock your items and upgrade any weapons as necessary.
    2. Continue up the hill past the shop and you will encounter a group of Dragon Demons. Their attacks are strong but they are weak against combos, as usually Flying Swallow is you best friend.
    3. When they are down follow the path until you get to the gap. Wall-run to get across (if you fall you can easily use the Flying Bird technique to jump back up to the initial ledge).
    4. Further down the path you will encounter Half-Dragon Demons. Continue using the Flying Swallow against them until they're down.
    5. Continue along the path until you get to a drop off. There is a crate to the right with an Herb of Spiritual Life.
    6. Jump down and explore the area. You will find two more chestS, containing Life of the Gods and an Herb of Spiritual Life. Head back up the stairs and use a multiple wall-run on the left side to reach the next area.
    7. At this clearing you will have to fight a mixture of the Dragon Demons and Half-Dragon Demons. This can be difficult, so use Ninpo if you have it, then Flying Swallow followed by Ultimate Techniques. There's about 10 in total.
    8. Head onward through the only pathway, which takes you to a save point. Save your game.
    9. Continue straight along the path. You will greeted by a group of advancing Shadow Demon Resetsus.
    10. TIP: The Shadow Demon Resetsu is right up there with the Mecha Soldier in terms of toughness. They are impervious to Flying Swallow, so don't bother. If you need to, retreat back into the enclosed area with the Save Point, and then relaunch an offensive. With the Dragon Sword you can charge up an Ultimate Technique and wait for them to get within range. If you retreat a bit, you health will also restore itself, and then you'll be better prepared to attack again. Alternatively, break out the (hopefully fully maxed) Eclipse Scythe to go head-to-head with them.
    11. When they're down continue along the path. Find the corpse with a Devil Way Mushroom, and another one a Grains of Spiritual Life.
    12. Go inside the cave and save your game at the save point.
    13. When you're ready continue through the caves, and encounter a group of Spiny Fiends near a lake. Worms will also come out of the water. Find the corpse in the area with the Incendiary ShurikenS. Use the shurikens on the worms as much as you can. When you've exhausted your incendiary shuriken supply, get in close and Flying Swallow the worms to death.
    14. TIP: There is an unlimited supply of Incendiary Shurikens on the corpse, so if you need it continually restock yourself.
    15. Get to the other side, open the small door, and use FLYING BIRD to jump up to the next floor.
    16. There is a Crystal Skull up above you. In order to get it, wall-run over the gap (under the skull), and then wall run back the other way and jump up to the platform where the skull is.
    17. Continue onward, and find another swamp with more worms. Incendiary Shuriken them, and Flying Swallow until they're down. If you need to, retreat around the corner, regroup and then re-attack.
    18. Continue around the curve, and lower the pillar to head into the next area. Walk through the hall, and fall down through the hole. Get the chest first! If you fall you can't go back up.
    19. The next area is a large cavernous area with a ton of Flying Demons. Move quickly through the area. Go down the stairs, and head to the left, and find a Crystal Skull. To the right of the stairs, find a full Ninpo recharge.
    20. Continue up to the next level, and encounter red Water Demons. They are small enemies, and so can be launched. Eliminate them quickly.
    21. Go up onto the circular granite block, and do a strong downward attack to activate it. This will bring down down a large cage, and more Water Demons attack.
    22. When they're down, go into the cage and find a corpse with a Jewel of the Demon Seal.
    23. When the cage comes down you can continue down a path to the right of where you came in. Find the corpse with ARROWS.
    24. Continue onward. You'll encounter a crowd of Chainsaw Bazooka Zombies. Use the Flying Swallow to end them. Keep moving and don't stop or they'll shoot you with bazookas. Use a Ninpo you get low on health.
    25. Continue around the corner to more Chainsaw Bazooka Zombies. Use the same techniques listed above for them.
    26. TIP: The Scythe works well against them when they are in smaller numbers.
    27. TIP: With the Scythe you can use Blood Rain technique (jump forward + Y), jump back, then jump back in and repeat until they're down. They don't have enough time to recover from that move to put up any retaliation.
    28. When you enter the next area, there will be a slew of Flying Demons. Don't waste your arrows on them, just continue over to the Muramasa shop.
    29. Head over the bridge, and you'll encounter a group of Chainsaw Bazooka Zombies. Flying Swallow them until they're down.
    30. Save your progress at the at the save point across the bridge, then head over to the circular granite switch. Use the Scythe to bring the cage down.
    31. Defeat the Water Demons when they come out of the cage. The Scythe's Blood Rain attack also works well on the Water Demons. When they're down go into the cage and find the corpse with a Grains of Spiritual Life.
    32. Go into the ship-like structure. Come out the other side and go up the path. Encounter a bunch of Chainsaw Bazooka Zombies. Again, the Scythe's Blood Rain technique is a good tactic.
    33. Find a crate along the path as you continue with Red Orbs.
    34. Continue along the path, and encounter a crowd of Water Demons.
    35. TIP: At this point it can be useful to take out some of the surrounding flying demons, as they become troublesome during the fight.
    36. Continue along the path and trigger a cutscene.
    37. When the cutscene ends, examine the green-lit slab. you'll need to find an item to unlock it (you'll acquire the item for the mid-boss battle).
    38. Head over to the left of the circular switch. Use the Scythe to bring it down.

  • Sub-Boss: Quetzecoatl Demon

    1. TIP: Here you will fight just one of the Quetzalcoatl dragons that you fought two of as the final boss in the previous chapter. This fight is significantly easier than the last fight, as there are no surrounding Flying Demons to interrupt your aim with the BOW. Take momentary pauses whenever you can to unload a fully charged BOW shot. When Quetzalcoatl is down, you'll get a chest with the Bone Relief needed to unlock the green-lit slab.

    3. When you're ready head through the door, and fight a crowd of Ninjas. There are many, many enemies at this point. As a general strategy for this section, focus on just one enemy until they're down, and then draw using Y to unleash an Ultimate Technique.
    4. TIP: You can use the Kusari-gama in this section to deal with the multitudes of ninjas. Just continually draw using Y.
    5. TIP: Another good weapon for this section is the Vigoorian Flail.
    6. Continue up the steps when all of the ninjas have been annihilated. At the top of the steps, you'll encounter yet another legion of ninjas.
    7. TIP: You can retreat a bit down the steps (you can jump on enemies heads over and over until you're to safety), draw using Y and unleash an Ultimate Technique.
    8. At the top of the steps find a chest with an Herb of Spiritual Life to the right. Continue through the door. Drop down and save at the save point and restock at the Muramasa shop.
    9. After you save and stock up, open the door and prepare for demons to come out. There will be Demon Spawns and Half-Dragon Demons. Defeat them.
    10. When they're down, head down the steps, and find a chest to the left with Grains of Spiritual Life, and another chest with a Red Orbs.
    11. Find a tablet to the right of the steps. Go through the large door to trigger a cutscene and boss battle with Elizabet.

  • Boss: Elizabet

    1. TIP: Flying Swallow is your best friend during this boss fight. Unlike Zedonius, Elizabet cannot block that attack. If you get an opportunity to get close hit her with a strong combo. She lacks devastating close range attacks and her throw has a very obvious tell and is easy to avoid once you've seen it. Her standard attacks are also easily blockable.
    2. Avoid her combos and spam her with the Flying Swallow.
    3. In one of her somewhat threatening long-range attacks she spews streams of blood at you that do considerable damage. When she does this, do Reverse Wind continuously until the attack ends.
    4. The Inferno Ninpo has about a 50% success rate, but is useful in wearing her down.
