Crystal Skulls Information
Crystal Skulls in the game, Ninja Gaiden II have no monetary value. They exist as milestones for various achievements throughout the game. There are thirty skulls hidden in various locations throughout first eleven chapters such as stairs, shelves, walkways and near windows.Achievements
Collecting the Skulls is an optional way to earn various achievements:- Karma of the Warrior: 10 Crystal Skulls
- Karma of the Mentor: 20 Crystal Skulls
- Karma of the Master Ninja: 30 Crystal Skulls
Once you have collected all thirty of the Crystal Skulls, a giant Crystal Skull is in a room with several Centaurs. A Gamerpic is also awarded.

Chapter 4
- Exit the subway and continue through the streets, looking to your left for an open area across from apartment buildings to your right. A skull is located near a ninja corpse on one of the building exterior stairases.
- About halfway through this chapter, jump from a broken overpass to a ladder to reach the ledge with a skull
- Climb the stairs Inside the Statue of Liberty to the save point. Jump on girders in the middle of the room to view the skull

Chapter 5
- After obtaining the Kusarigama, run across the river. There is a skull on one of the boats
- Walk into the market place. Use the exit on the right side. The skull is immediately to your right outside the doorway
- Pick up a spear gun and swim through two sets of jelly fish-like creatures. After they are all dead, you will find a skull on the floor to your left

- Cross the snow-covered mine field. A skull is located after the first section of mines
- Descend a winding square staircase and look into the holes in the wall with candles
- Enter the subway. There is a skull in the room immediately prior to finding a dignitary's ID card
- Look on the gears. A skull islocated on one of the medium horizontal gears in the middle section

Chapter 9
- Behind a wood tower in the right corner of a large open body of with two searchlights
- Use the jade mask. Climb the rope in the next area. Past the giant tree halfway through the climb, use a branch to turn and swing to your right to the next branch to reach a skull
- Defeat the worm boss and save your game. You will then encounter smaller worm enemies. A skull is located on the ground on the right side of the room
- Watch the short film. Dead ninjas are floating in the river. Jump into the water and locate the small alcove on the left of the river floor about half way across

Chapter 10
- Fight the worms in the acid pit. Do a flying bird flip into the area above. Wall run to your immediate left and jump to the wall on the right. There is a skull in this area on a ledge.
- After the flying dragon enemies, descend via a path to a level area. Take a side trip to the left to locate the skull on the ground

Chapter 11
- Pass the second shop. Climb the ladder and jump out the window into a village scene. Turn right into a narrow alley to the right of the village near its exit. A skull is in the far back right of the alley
- Pass through an underwater tunnel into a clearing. A skull is inside a small wooden structure on the right
- After leaving the ninja fortress, head to the left and drop into the opening in the floor until you arrive at the location where the game began. Continue down the ramps where the final skull is located at the far bottom left.
