Story
Ninja Blade is set in Tokyo in the year 2015. Parasites known as Alpha Worms have infected the city and its inhabitants, transforming them into blood-thirsty monsters. Worried that the infection will continue to spread, the United Nations has decided that Tokyo must be sterilized.
There had been an infestation of the alpha worms previously that led to an entire area being sterilized. The facts of the infestation and subsequent sterilization had been hidden to protect the public from confusion. On August 12, 2015 a second infestation was located, forcing the United Nations into action. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/n/ninjablade/
The game is centered around the main character, Ken Ogawa, a member of the Global United Infestation Detection and Elimination team, who has been tasked with battling the monsters.
