Nina Garcia started her fashion career in 1980 and attended Ecole Superieur de la Mode in Paris and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She was the fashion director for Elle from 2000 to April 11, 2008, when she resigned from the position. She also worked as one of the judges on the Bravo TV reality show Project Runway.
