    The D60 features a 10.2 megapixel sensor that can shoot three frames per second, with a total of 100 consecutive frames. It has the ability to start up in a fifth of a second, which combined with its fast shutter speed is designed take photos on the fly faster and easier. The body of the camera houses a two and a half inch viewing screen as well as a built-in cleaning system to reduce dust and increase lifespan. Other features include a three area auto-focus system, 3D color matrix metering and an automatic flash.

    Ken Rockwell thinks the D60 is far inferior to the D40x although it is much more expensive. LetsGoDigital was impressed with the photo quality and straightforward operation, while still keeping an affordable price for an entry level digital SLR.
