Nikon D3

The Nikon D3 is a professional full frame digital SLR camera that copies the stylings of a 35 mm camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels.

The D3 is designed for professionals, offering a 12 megapixel CMOS sensor with the ability to capture as many as 11 frames per second. It utilizes the Nikon EXPEED image processing technology to improve both photo quality and speed of operation. Additionally it comes with Nikon's Scene Recognition System to improve exposures using a 51 point 3D auto focus system and four preset and nine customizable color settings. On the back of the D3 is a three inch VGA color viewing screen that features 170 degree widescreen viewing.

Gizmodo liked the robust structure of the D3, but did have difficulty navigating the controls somewhat. The Imaging Resource described the D3 as the fastest digital SLR on the market, but admitted that it has some limitations.
