Legislation
As a member of the conservative VMRO-DPMNE party, one of Gruevski's major concerns is job creation and economic revival. He is also concerned with organized crime and corruption in Macedonia. He is anxious to have Macedonia become a member of the European Union (EU). He also wants Macedonia to become a member of NATO, so much so that he called for re-elections when they were blocked from joining NATO by Greece. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/country_profiles/1067125.stm
