Life After Idol

After leaving Idol McKibbin signed with 19 Entertainment and RCA Records. However, no album was ever made because the record execs wanted her to make a country album and she wanted to stay true to her roots. After that she starred in three more reality show Fear Factor, Battle of the Network Reality Stars and Kill Reality.

In May, 2005, she joined the band Downcast, but left the band shortly after due to creative differences. In February, 2006, she signed with Astral Records. She began recording songs for her album, but things fell through and she and the company parted ways.
