Season one American Idol contestant, Nikki McKibbin suffered a breakdown in late February, 2008. It was reported that she called a friend and told her that she was feeling depressed and wanted to die. When police arrived, they found her with a number of white pills in her hand. She was placed in the hospital for a 72 hour observation.
