Nike Shoes

Highly visible marketing campaigns, particularly focused on celebrity athlete endorsements, have made Nike sneakers one of the world's most recognizable brands. Nike shoes are sneakers available for men, women, and children and come in a variety of colors and styles.

History of Nike

Nike was originally a company called Blue Ribbon Sports in 1964, founded by Bill Bowerman and Philip Knight. A little over ten years later their small company became Nike in 1978. What first began as a small retail store selling a soccer cleat shoe with a new swoosh design named Nike, soon became a new company signing athletes to sponsor their shoes. Their headquarters located in Portland, Oregon now has a $16 billion dollar revenue and is considered the world's leading supplier of athletic footwear.
