Career
After playing in a number of bands in the mid- and late-1970s, Nik Kershaw scored a number of international hits in 1984, including Wouldn't It Be Good, a song that benefited from extensive exposure on the then-new cable television network Mtv. Kershaw continued to chart into the 1990s, when he shifted to producing and writing for other artists, including Chesney Hawkes, The Hollies, Let Loose, and Imogen Heap. In the early 2000s, Kershaw began releasing solo albums as an independent artist.
