  • What began as a collaboration between DJ/producers George Evelyn (aka DJ EASE) and Kevin Harper, Nightmares on Wax was an influential British techno act in the early 90s. Contemporarily, the project consists of Evelyn alone, along with the occasional creative contributors.

As a duo, Nightmares on Wax released the album A Word Of Science: The First And Final Chapter in 1991. Between 91 and the release of Nightmare's second album Smoker's Delight in 1995, Harper had left to pursue a DJing career, making Nightmares Evelyn's solo venture.

In 2005, Evelyn started his own independent record label Wax On, but continues to release Nightmares' projects, including 2006s In a Space Outta Sound, via Warp Records.

Nightmares of Wax's tracks have been heard on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim promos and on public radio show This American Life.
