- Frontman Blades left the band to join Damn Yankees with Tommy Shaw of Styx and Ted Nugent
- "Sister Christian" featured in the movie Superstar
- 1984: "Interstate Love Affair" featured in film Teachers" starring Nick Nolte
- Had two songs featured in Out of Bounds and Sixteen Candles

Night Ranger is considered by many to be one of the most successful touring and recording rock bands of the 1980s, having sold more than 10 million records worldwide. Their ballad "Sister Christian" was ranked number five on the charts in 1984.
