Night Court is an American sitcom starring comedian Harry Anderson that ran from 1984 through 1992. Night Court was about the night shift at a courtroom and all the zany characters that work and pass through there. The show went through many cast changes over the course of its run, and the only actors to appear consistently throughout the entire series were played by Harry Anderson, John Larroquette, and Richard Moll.
Main Characters
- Judge Harry Stone: The presiding night-shift judge of a Manhattan court played by Harry Anderson. Stone is playful and snarky, and often incorporates magic tricks into hsi courtroom proceedings.
- Christine Sulivan: The pretty and poised public defender played by Markie Post. Honest and sincere toward her work, she is the primary love interest of Harry Stone.
- Dan Fielding: The womanizing, self-obsessed, arrogant prosecutor played by John Larroquette.
- Bull Shannon: The goofy, lovable, somewhat aloof bailiff played by Richard Moll
