Night at the Roxbury

Night at the Roxbury is a 1998 comedy movie about two nightclubbing brothers whose dream is to party at the Roxbury.

Steve Butabi, played by Will Ferrell, and his brother Doug, played by Chris Kattan, love going out to Southern California night clubs. Their biggest dream in life is to visit the hottest night club in Los Angeles, the Roxbury, and someday start a popular club of their own. Their only problem is that Steve and Doug cannot get them into the popular L.A. clubs, let alone the Roxbury. Their quirky antics and over the top wardrobe are not helpful for getting into clubs, nor appreciated by the ladies. Their father, played by Dan Hedaya, has different plans for his sons, he wants them to work in his artificial flower store. He also pressures Steve to marry the daughter of the owner of the next door lamp store, played by Molly Shannon. Just when the brothers think they will never make it to the Roxbury, as amends for an auto accident Richard Grieco gets the boys into the Roxbury, even introducing them to the owner and getting the pair one step closer to their dream.
