Nicole Waring and her two young daughters Grace and Dakota were reported missing the morning of April 12, 2008. Just before police started the search, they noticed Waring waist deep in a brook. She was holding six year old Dakota. Police tried to coax her back on land, but she jumped as a policeman tried to grasp her. The bodies of Waring and Dakota were found and pronounced dead. Two and a half year old Grace was found dead the next day.
Police believe the incident was deliberate.
