Nicole Snooki Polizzi

"Snooki" (Nicole Polizzi) is a cast member on Jersey Shore, an MTV reality show. On February 3, 2010, Inside Edition gave Snooki a makeover, the pictures of the 'new look' emerged on the Internet that same night. The 'new' Snooki pictures show her with a slicked-back hairstyle and tailored clothing. Snooki usually wears her hair in a high-bouffant style. At the 2010 Grammy Awards, Snooki wore a tight purple dress. Before Jersey Shore, "Snooki" (sometimes spelled Snookie) appeared on the MTV show Is She Really Going Out With Him over the summer of 2009. The episode was called "Planet Jersey", episode 14. On July 30, 2010, Polizzi was arrested in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Other beach patrons said she was bothering them and she was charged with disorderly conduct. Polizzi said she was merely intoxicated and was released after a few hours. She is scheduled to appear in court for the charge on August 18 and is only expected to pay a fine of up to $1000. The show Jersey Shore has ignited controversy over its stereotypical representation of young Italian-Americans. The organization UNICO called the show "trash tv" and called for it to be canceled. The pizza chain Dominos and American Family Insurance both resigned as sponsors for the show. In an interview with Steppin' Out magazine, Snooki was quoted as saying, "I just have one thing to say to Domino's, Dell, UNICO and all the other haters out there ... F**K YOU! If you don't want to watch, don't watch. Just shut the hell up! I'm serious. F**K YOU!" During the filming of Jersey Shore in August 2009. Snooki was punched in the face by a man at a bar. The video of Snooki getting punched was uploaded to YouTube and can be found online.
