Niclas Wallin is a professional hockey player with the Carolina Hurricanes in the National Hockey League.
NHL Career
Prior to joining the NHL, Wallin played for the Brynas IF in the Elitserien, or Swedish Elite League. He was drafted 97th overall in the 2000 NHL Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes. Wallin made his NHL debut that same year, playing with the team over the next four seasons. He returned to Sweden during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, to play for the Lulea HF. Aftre the lockout, Wallin came back to the Hurricanes, helping them win the 2006, Stanley Cup Championship.
