Nickelback

Nickelback is an award winning, and world record breaking Canadian rock band who produced multiple U.S chart topping singles including "Photograph", "Savin' Me", "Far Away", "If Everyone Cared", "Rockstar" and "Into the Night". The band is led by vocalist Chad Kroeger, who was sentenced recently for a driving under the influence charge.

Independent Albums

Nickelback released their first EP in 1996, later that year they released their first independent album Curb which only sold 100,000 copies. The next album, The State was also released as an independent record in 1998. In 2000 it was picked up by EMI and Roadrunner Records and sold a worldwide total of only 600,000 copies.

Record Breakers!

The success of Nickelback came with the release of their third album Silver Side Up. It included the hit single How You Remind Me which topped both the rock and alternative rock charts in the United States. The single "Too Bad" literally broke the Guinness Book of World Record for having a single in the number one spot for over 20 weeks in a row. The album was certificated platinum six times in the U.S.and eight times in Canada.

In 2003, The Long Road was released featuring the chart topping singles "Figured You Out" and "Someday". All The Right Reasons, the fifth full length album by the band, sold almost ten million albums worldwide. It was the 16th album to ever do so in the 21st century.
