Nick Dunning

Irish born actor Nick Dunning plays the English diplomat and 1st Earl of Wiltshire Thomas Boleyn on the Showtime television series The Tudors.

Career

Dunning has been a theater actor for many years, although it took some time for him to make a name for himself in the United States. During his time as a stage actor, he worked with The Royal Court Theater, Royal Shakespeare Company and The Royal National Theater. He is popular and well known in both Ireland and England.

In 1981 his first film was the British film, Remembrance. Since then he has made appearances in many other films such as 1985s Lamb and the television series Into the Blue. Once he made his way into American film and television he appeared in the 2004 film Alexander as Attalus alongside Colin Farrell and Angelina Jolie. Other notable roles include, among others, In America, The Return and Malice Aforethought.

Nick Dunning is known for his role on the Showtime television series The Tudors. He plays the role of the English diplomat and 1st Earl of Wiltshire Thomas Boleyn. The series itself focuses on the early life of King Henry VIII.
