Car Crash
Adenhart was riding in a Mitsubishi being driven by Courtney Stewart the morning of April 9, 2009, when a minivan being driven by Andrew Thomas Gallo ran a red light and crashed into their car shortly before 12:30 a.m., causing the Mitsubishi to hit a light pole. Three people, including Adenhart and Stewart, were killed in the crash, two died at the scene, and Adenhart died during surgery at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
