2008 Week 4 Matchups
This week marked the first of the seven consecutive weeks during which some of the teams do not play. These are referred to as 'bye weeks'. The teams that were off this week were the Colts, Dolphins, Giants, Lions, Patriots, and Seahawks. FOX had the doubleheader nationally this week, and their marquee match-up was the classic NFC East rivalry between the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys. Early in the day, there was the renewal of the old NFC Central "Bay of Pigs" match-up between Green Bay and Tampa Bay. The Sunday Night showdown involved the Chicago Bears playing host to the Philadelphia Eagles, while the Monday nighter featured the Baltimore Ravens visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers. -
