2010 Week Two Recap
Week 2 of the 2010 NFL Season features several key divisional and non-divisional matchups. In an early game the Joe Flacco led Baltimore Ravens fly to Cincinnati to battle it out with the division rival Bengals. The Brothers Manning will play against each other for only the second time in the regular season in the Sunday Night Football matchup as Eli and his New York Giants travel to see Peyton and his defending AFC Champion Indianapolis Colts. Lastly the reigning Super Bowl Champions make their 2010 Monday Night Football debut against the young upstart San Francisco 49ers led by Head Coach Mike Singletary.
2009 Week Two Recap
2009 National Football League season. The games were played on Sunday September 20 and Monday September 21.
Perhaps the most notable game was between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets. The Jets tried to intimidate the Patriots throughout the week with trash talk, and backed their words up with strong defensive play to win the game 16-9.
2008 Week Two Recap
The two most publicized games of the week were two top divisional matchups, one between the Pats and Jets and the other between the Eagles and Cowboys. The Jets were favorites over the Patriots for the first time in years now that Tom Brady has gone out with an injury. They were looking for QB Matt Cassel and running back Laurence Maroney to share the offensive load.
