Week 17 2008
Because the league operates an odd number of weeks, and to increase the probability of exposing the country to the biggest pool of important games, doubleheaders were run on both CBS and FOX. Among the post-Christmas holiday games that provided intrigue and playoff implications were the annual "T.O. Bowl" between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans hosting Carolina, and Tennessee traveling to Indianapolis. There was no Monday Night Football game this week. -
