NFL Week 11

The NFL's regular season is broken up into 17 weeks. Each NFL team gets one bye week. The NFL breaks their schedule down like this: Each team plays a home and away game versus every team in their division, they play all four teams from another division within its conference (on a rotating three year cycle), they play four teams from another division in the other conference (on a four year cycle), and two inter conference games based on the prior year's standings. http://www.sportspool.com/football/schedule.php

For the 2010 NFL season, week 11 runs from Nov.18-22. Week 11 kicks off with two play-off hungry teams, the Chicago Bears and the Miami Dolphins, battling it out on Thursday night. The weekend games offer some very interesting matchups, as well. If Brett Favre returns to the Minnesota Vikings as he is expected to do, he will be facing his old team, the Green Bay Packers. The game that has grabbed everybody's attention the last few years will be played during week 11 as the Indianapolis Colts take on the New England Patriots. Add in the Philadelphia Eagles-New York Giants game on Sunday night and the Monday Night Football match-up between the Denver Broncos and the San Diego Chargers, and week 11 should be pretty intriguing. http://www.nfl.com/schedules

Week 11 of the 2009 NFL season]] (see highlights in the video posted below]], started off with the Miami Dolphins heading into Carolina Panthers territory and beating them, 24-17. The weekend saw a couple of upsets, with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the defending Super Bowl champs Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24, and the Oakland Raiders surprising the Cincinatti Bengals, 20-17. The Indianapolis Colts came into Baltimore and battled the Ravens, the Colts coming out with a tight 17-15 win. New England manhandled the New York Jets 31-14, the Philadelphia Eagles blew into the Windy City and beat the Chicago Bears, 24-20, and the New York Giants barely escaped a tough Atlanta Falcons squad in a high scoring affair, 34-31.
