On December 11, 2008, The Associated Press reported that snow was falling in parts of southern Louisiana, including New Orleans. Severe Weather
The same weather system that brought the snow to New Orleans traveled through Texas the previous day and dumped about two inches of snow in the southeastern areas, resulting in power outages, road closures delays for travelers flying out of Houston.
