New Order

New Order was an English New Wave Rock band that rose from the ashes of post-punk legends Joy Division after the death of lead singer Ian Curtis. While the band struggled to move out from under the shadow of Joy Division, they went on to release a number of highly acclaimed albums on their own and became one of the most successful bands of the 1980s. After a four year hiatus, the band reunited for a performance at the 2005 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, only to dissolve again a few years later.
