  • The reunited New Kids On The Block performed on the May 16, 2008, episode of the Today show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their hit album Hangin' Tough. Their reunion was officially announced in April of '08, and in September they released the comeback album The Block.     The five-member, all-"boy band" New Kids on the Block were a pop phenomenon in the mid-Eighties and early Nineties, selling over 70 million albums to a rabid pre-teen female fan base.Official Site: New Kids On The Block They went their separate ways in 1994 after the rise of hip-hop forced their sunnier style of pop off the charts.

    Donnie Wahlberg went on to have a successful acting career, starring in the Saw films and on a number of TV shows. Jordan Knight went on to try his hand at a solo career, and starred on VH1's The Surreal Life. Danny Wood also tried a solo career, and started his own record label called Damage Records. Joey McIntyre starred in a number of Broadway musicals, and toured with Dancing with the Stars. Jonathan Knight moved to Massachusetts and took up real estate.
