Geography
Nevada borders Utah to the east, Arizona to the southeast, California to the west and Oregon to the north. The Nevada countryside is extremely diverse, with its mountain ranges reaching 13,000 feet, valleys and deserts (known as the great basin), and waterways such as the Humboldt River, Colorado River, and Lake Tahoe.
