Nevada, nick named "The Silver State", is located in the western area of the Untied States. Nevada is the 36th state to become part of the union in 1864. Found on the Nevada state flag is the phrase "Battle Born", which represents Oregon's entry on the Union side during the American Civil War
Nevada is the seventh largest state in the western territory, covering parts of the Mojave Desert, with 86% of the state being owned by U.S. federal government.
Nevada is known for its quickie marriages and divorces, along with legalized gambling, and state controlled brothels.

Nevada borders Utah to the east, Arizona to the southeast, California to the west and Oregon to the north. The Nevada countryside is extremely diverse, with its mountain ranges reaching 13,000 feet, valleys and deserts (known as the great basin), and waterways such as the Humboldt River, Colorado River, and Lake Tahoe. -
