Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with the function and disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nerves. A neurologist is a doctor who specializes in neurology. Neurologists work closely with other specialists such as neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, orthopedists and ophthalmologists.
