Nestor Carbonell is a Cuban-American TV and film actor. Though he is a New Yorker by birth, he was raised in over a dozen different countries, due to his father's employment with Pepsi. His TV career has been marked by some high-profile roles, including Richard Alpert in Lost and Luis Rivera in Suddenly Susan. His first major film role is the Mayor of Gotham City in 2008's The Dark Knight. Carbonell holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Harvard University.
