Nelly Furtado is a Canadian-born singer/songwriter of Portuguese descent. Furtado is known for experimenting with different instruments, sounds, genres, languages, and vocal styles.

Nelly Furtado appeared in a duet with Brian Adams during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. They sang Bang The Drum.

The album was released on September 14, 2009, by Vivendi's Universal Music Group.
