• Plot Summary

  Nell was raised by her mother in an isolated cabin in the woods. Her mother had speech difficulties due to a series of strokes, with the result that Nell's language is unintelligible. Nell is discovered living alone after her mother's death, and Dr, Jerome Lovell, played by Liam Neeson, struggles with how to integrate her into society.
