Neil William Rackers was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 16, 1976. He attended Aquinas-Mercy High School and then continued his education at the University of Illinois. Pro Career
In his first season with the Bengals Rackers appeared in 16 games and attempted 21 field goals, while making 12. Seven of the field goals were between 40-49 feet long. In 2003, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals. He recorded his best season in 2005 whe he was named to the Pro Bowl and was selected on the first team All Pro as a kicker.
