Neil Johnston

Neil Johnston was a hall of fame basketball player in the NBA and a professional baseball pitcher. He also became a coach for the Philadelphia Warriors.

Pro Career

Johnston signed a professional baseball contract with the Philadelphia Phillies after college and played two and a half years for the Terre Haute Phillies of the Three-I League. Later, he became a professional basketball player and spent 8 years in the NBA for the Philadelphia Warriors.

Awards and Honors

Coaching Career

He became a coach for the Philadelphia Warriors from 1959-1961 after his playing career and had a 95-59 winning record for the first two seasons of Wilt Chamberlain's NBA career.
