  • Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Ne-Yo released his debut album In My Own Words in 2006 and it went multi-platinum quickly. As a songwriter, he has penned hits for artists such as Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna. His third album in three years, Year of the Gentleman, was released on September 16, 2008.

    Wet Entertainment filed suit against Ne-Yo in February of 2009 after he failed to show up for his New Year's Eve concert.     Ne-Yo and Jim Jones, a rapper and member of the Diplomats, reportedly were in an altercation at the Louis Vuitton store in Manhattan on Christmas Eve.
