NCIS Cast

The NCIS cast includes Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, Cote De Pablo, Pauley Perrette, Sean Murray, Rocky Carroll and David McCallum. Several of the original cast members were introduced in an episode of JAG before NCIS first aired on September 23, 2003.

The NCIS cast and show have been so successful that a spin-off premiered September 22, 2009 called NCIS Los Angeles. The cast members of the Los Angeles spin off have appeared on the original NCIS series and the original series characters are seen in an occasional episode of the spin off. Director Vance, played by actor Rocky Carroll, stars on both shows. For the debut season of NCIS: Los Angeles, some crossovers occurred when Rocky Carroll appeared as Leon, David Dayan Fisher appeared as Trent Kort, and Pauley Perrette appears as Abby on more than one occasion.

Some of the cast members of NCIS have also appeared on other television shows as "crossovers" in which they played the same characters as they do on NCIS. Some of these crossovers to date have included Mark Harmon's Gibbs character on JAG, along with Michael Weatherly as Anthony, David McCallum as Ducky, and Pauley Perrette as Abby. http://community.livejournal.com/nciscrossovers

Mark Harmon is Jethro Gibbs, the team leader of the NCIS investigators. Harmon has previously been nominated for Emmy Awards and Golden Globe Awards. In a TV performance, Harmon starred as serial killer Ted Bundy in "The Deliberate Stranger." He also starred in "Chicago Hope," the mini-series "From the Earth to the Moon," and "And Never Let Her Go,"and the movie "Sweet Bird of Youth".Other TV Series included "St. Elsewhere" and "Moonlighting."Harmon is married to actress Pam Dawber.http://www.cbs.com/primetime/ncis/cast/mark-harmon/
