This page contains information about the west region bracket of the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament. The NCAA West Region Bracket is one of four regional brackets that comprise the first four rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, also known as March Madness, which determines the NCAA Men's Basketball champion.

The regional bracket consists of 16 teams, as selected and named by the NCAA Selection Committee on Selection Sunday. The 16 teams compete in the single-elimination tournament to narrow the teams from 16 to eight, four, two and eventually one, who will continue on to the Final Four to face the winners of the other three regional brackets for the national championship.

In the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the 16 teams participating in the West Regional Bracket were named on Selection Sunday, March 14, 2010, with the Syracuse Orange taking the top seed in the west. The main tournament got underway on March 18, with first and second rounds played at various locations across the country over the next three days. The bracket was reduced to four teams and played the regional semifinals and finals on March 25 and March 27 respectively at the University of Utah at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The winner of the regional finals, the Butler Bulldogs, went on to the 2010 Final Four at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on April 3 and April 5, 2010.
