NBA Street Homecourt is a basketball game from developer EA Sports. The game features over-the-top action, as players can perform exaggerated dunks, blatant goaltending and hard fouls. The game is featured on the next-generation consoles. It received very positive reviews from video game critics. Denver Nuggets point guard Carmelo Anthony is featured on the cover of the game.
Gameplay
Although the trick stick has been removed, the controls in the game have been very simplified. Dribble moves are easier to perform, and trick moves are easier to pull off against the computer. The more trick moves performed, the more the gamebreaker meter fills, which can help lead to insane dunks. At times, a player can perform a double dunk or triple dunk by timing the move after performing the initial dunk. One of the main features is Homecourt Challenge. Players create a character by taking the likeness of two actual NBA players. The player then takes part in various games and other challenges, competing against actual NBA players. After each game, the player's statistics are improved. Throughout the game, teammates can be dropped for better skilled teammates.
