The NBA Shooting Stars Competition is a contest held during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Teams are comprised of a retired NBA player, a current NBA player and a WNBA player representing their city in a shooting competition.
The Detroit team won the 2009 NBA Shooting Stars Competition on February 14, at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Team Texas Wins 2010 Shooting Stars Competition
The 2010 event was won by Team Texas. The team consisted of Dirk Nowitzki, Becky Hammon, and Kenny Smith.
Team Texas defeated Team Los Angeles in the final round with their astonishing time of 34.3 seconds.
